Our plans for Speckled Wood include a Greenway Link. The Greenway is a community driven public-realm project that aims to create a contemporary new linear park that is borough wide.
Greenways help create a stronger landscape framework in the local townscape fabric. They create new walking and cycling routes in an attractive traffic-free setting. The Speckled Wood link to the Ore Valley Greenway could be the start of a continuous cycle and walking route to Hastings Town Centre.
