Data Protection Act & General Data Protection Regulations

Ore Community Land Trust (Ore CLT) has measures to ensure that any personal information (data) we hold about members, volunteers and contacts is kept secure and we will comply with the requirements of the new General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

Ore CLT is a membership organisation and collects and holds personal information provided by members for contact purposes. Personal information is held about volunteers who join our woodland work team or help in other ways and we also have a wider contact list for people who are interested in our work.

Ore CLT takes personal privacy and the security of any personal information we hold very seriously. We only use this information to contact you about our meetings, events and activities and to keep you in touch with our plans and to seek your views on how we meet our aims to acquire, enhance and manage woodland and green spaces and develop community projects.
We may also contact you to let you know about other matters such as local authority plans and consultations and events being organised by other organisations and groups.
We will not pass your personal information and contact details on to any other organisations or individuals without your consent, unless required to do so by law.

Under the terms of the GDPR you have the right to see what personal information we may hold about you and to ask for changes to be made, for restrictions on how it is used or for it to be deleted.
More detail is available, on line, from the Information Commissioners Office
