Ore Valley Greenway will be a network of walking & cycling routes from Ore Station to Broomgrove and through 
Speckled Wood to Ore Village (shown in the Hastings Local Plan). Funding could soon become available to make these off-road and attractive routes, at gradients suitable for mobility scooters & push chairs, a reality.
Ore Community Land Trust is working with the Hastings Greenway Group and other organisations to promote this important sustainable travel option.
Speckled Wood section
Detailed design work on the Speckled Wood section of the Greenway, funded by Big Local NE Hastings, has now been completed. There is also a plan to construct an informal Greenway from Ore Station to Broomgrove Road in 2017.
