This web site for Ore Community Land Trust provides information about why and how the Trust was formed. It details our aims and our primary focus of protecting ’Speckled Wood’ in the Upper Ore Valley as urban green space for community use.

It covers the work that has been undertaken during the first year of the Trust and our plans for the future. It also explains the different ways that individuals and organisations can join the trust, get involved in  volunteer work and add their voice to the campaign to save the woodland valley and to secure improvements for Ore Village and the Ore area. Information is included about the our Community Plan, and the practical projects we are developing.

Our overall aim is to protect and enhance green spaces and to help shape the regeneration of Ore Village and the Upper Ore Valley from a local perspective - to enhance the social, environmental and economic fabric of the area.
